Visiting Mommy's Work

The kids have always asked questions about my job, but it seems like lately they've really been interested in what I do and what Aria looks like. They've been asking to go visit and today we finally made the trip out to City Center so that they could see "Mommy's Work."

[Main Valet. The boys loved the water]

[Our lobby is decorated for Chinese New Years]

We stopped by the front desk and Ti & the boys got to meet one of my managers and some of my coworkers. Right behind the desk is Crystals, so we headed there to catch the tram to Bellagio.

[Water feature in Crystals. The boys called them
tornado's and thought they were awesome]

[Heading up to the tram pick-up]

[We had a cabin all to ourselves, so the boys could goof off all they wanted]

Lady Chocolate
[Bellagio's Jean Philippe Patisserie]

[Guiness World Records largest chocolate fountain]

[Bellagio's Conservatory]

[Year of the rabbit]

[ 18-foot-tall Chinese God of Prosperity]

[35-foot Chinese Junk Boat with a 38-foot mast]

[Terracotta Warriors- covered in crushed walnuts and ground carrot seeds]

[Display behind Bellagio's front desk]

We went out front and caught a water show, then headed back up to the tram station to go back to Aria.

We stopped by Jean Philippe Patisserie in our casino so I could show the boys our cakes and we ended up getting some sweets to end the night.
[The star of our hotel. The King of Rock 'N Roll himself]

Throughout the night the boys would say stuff like, "Mommy's work is the bomb!".... and, " I love Mommy's work!" When we were driving out of City Center I heard Siope say, "After school on Friday, I want to come live at Aria." I thought it was hilarious. They have no clue about all the drawbacks of the job, but that's ok. I'm just glad they enjoyed their night out.

Christmas Week in Nevada

There is so much that has happened over the holiday weekend. Fatu and his team came out to play in the Las Vegas Maaco Bowl so we got to spend Christmas week with him and my parents. Out of all the days in the year we happened to get the most rain I've ever seen that exact week. It started Saturday the day Fatu got here and didn't stop til the day after the big game- go figure! We took the boys to watch one of his practices since they never get to watch any of his actual games.

My mom gave up her ticket so that she could stay home and watch the boys. I never thought I'd see the day, but the boys got her to play video games with them! I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought it was hilarious!

[that is one cool grandma if you ask me!]

Me, Ti Tonga, my Dad, Misi, and Po went to the game. Luckily the rain let up just as the game was starting.... and that was about all the luck we had that day lol. So we lost, but it was still a neat experience.

Santa came to visit the house Christmas Eve and Mote was the first one to discover the presents he left. He woke us up at 6 o'clock and we all gathered around the tree to see what he brought for the boys.
I remember growing up and there was usually that one present that I just lost it on as soon as I unwrapped it. That one super special gift that I just couldn't hide my excitement over. For Nic it was a WWE video game.

And Siope was most excited about his fish.

Mote on the other hand didn't really have that moment with any of his gifts, BUT.... I'm sure his most memorable thing about Christmas morning was found on our camera. We set up camera's that night to see if we could catch the big guy in action... and we did! When we checked the camera and found evidence Mote went nuts. He kept exclaiming, "He was here! I knew he was real! I knew it!!"
