Santa Monica Pier
After Ti's rugby game against Santa Moncia, we checked into our hotel
then headed straight for the beach. We got there late. The sun had
already set but we promised the boys we would take them, so it was
better late then never. When we pulled up closer the first thing we saw
were bright lights from a huge Ferris Wheel and Roller Coaster.
Beach plus an amusement park??? AWESOME!!! We made our way toward the beach and as soon as we reached the sand we kicked off our shoes and buried our feet in the soft grains. There was a cool breeze on the shore. We ran from the beach up to the Pier. There were souvenirs, food, arcade games, and rides that lined the wooden pier.
We watched and listened to the waves as they washed over the shore.
The Pier was busy with people walking it's course. It was a task just to find a place to sit down and eat. For dinner we had burgers, corn dogs, and chili fries. And our trip wouldn't be complete without some strawberry funnel cake for dessert. It was late so we headed home after dinner to get some sleep in order to return back the next day.
Bowling
Whenever we go out to Utah we try do an activity as a family. After Fatu & Brittainy's wedding we all went bowling. My mom was feeling sick, so her and my dad stayed home, but everyone else was there. We ended up at a little bowling alley right by my Mom's house and had the entire place to ourselves.

Time Flies...
When you're having fun... Wow, I am so unbelievably behind with blogging that it's not even funny. The thought of playing catch-up with my posts makes my stomach turn. I've been doing pretty good on my personal blog, but with this one?... not so great. Our family has definitely been busy <~ to say the least. And things don't look like they'll be slowing down any time soon. Not sure when I'll be able to officially catch up with all our updates. I've got so many pictures on my memory card that are dying to be shared. So... although this isn't quite in the order it should be, here's a picture of one of our trips (back) to California. We've done quite a bit of traveling since my last post... nowhere very far, but definitely memorable and full of fun. Here's to trying to get more organized!
