Winter Fest

1/16/09
Today I had the chance to attend Kindergarten with Mote. Their class had a Winter Festival and I was lucky enough to sit in and help.

We kicked off the festivities by making ice castles outside. With gloves on hand we layered blocks of ice in all shapes and sizes creating a winter wonderland.

Afterwards we headed back inside to warm up over some hot chocolate and marshmallows.

After splitting into teams, we marched back out and had a snowball fight Vegas style... with PAPER snowballs.

With time to spare we attempted to make ice sculptures.

And finished up with some songs sung by all the wonderful students in Miss Ruffridge's class.
