Mobile Request

This afternoon when I went to drop off Mote at school he picks up my cell phone and asks, "Mom can I have a phone?" I think I almost fell out of my seat. According to Mote, two other kids in his class have cell phones. Kindergarteners?!!

Okay, I had a hard enough time with my little brother getting a phone... and he's a senior in high school! And I didn't get a cell until I was 18 and graduated! So Mote- come back in about 12 years and I will think about it. Kids these days!

OMG! Stennie is already crazy about the toy cell phones, but she asked for a real one too! GEEZE LA-WEEZE! I can actually see my kids asking for one, but Mote?! lol. Give him one of your old ones and let him carry that around like Stennie.

You don't think he'd get picked on if he was spotted with one of your stone age phones? I can see the other kids calling him out on it. Asking for his number maybe, then busting him about the phone not even having any battery power lol

That is too funny! Marques has been asking for one since 1st grade!! It's crazy seeing all these kids in elementary running to the bus with their cell phones glued to their ears. Kids these days!

Mote, Mote... it's crazy that kids in elementary school have cell phones. My little brother is in Jr High and can't keep his phone charged if his life depended on it. He's constantly losing his phone and/or his charger, he's now on his 4th cell phone. He's just not responsible enough. I have heard of that phone mentioned in the above post. I'm pretty sure Verizon offers a 4 number programmed phone. I looked into it when my dad was getting Jag his phone. Kids with cell phones is just crazy to me.

Yeah Lees, I think it is Verizon... but I'm still not ready for Mote to be a part of "America's 3Gig Network" lol
