Mote got his first set of Lego's for Christmas this past year and we were surprised at how much he loved them! He would amaze us with the things he would build, so for his last birthday Neo got him a new set. It was weird because the new Lego's from Neo sat untouched for the longest time. The pieces are miniature and there are so many more possibilities this new set offers compared to the standard set he got for Christmas. We expected him to dive right in with his imagination and start building, but me and Ti Tonga found ourselves playing with them more than Mote lol. I think he was intimidated by the size of the new Lego's? It's been over a month since he's gotten his gift and he's finally gotten over his little fear. He started building a couple of really simple things like a magic wand (which looked like just a stick lol) and some towers, but this morning when I woke up he showed me a giraffe that he'd made. He must've woken up early to work on it because it was all put together even before I got out of bed. Mote has such a wild imagination and I love seeing the things he comes up with!
